The story of a photographer
I'm an East Tennessee State University Alumni who now has fallen in love with Johnson City and the surrounding areas. I've really bloomed as a photographer during my time here. Not only because as a Media and Communication major I had to study photography (and all Adobe products including Photoshop), but because of how downright beautiful it is here in East Tennessee. Now I would love to say that I have so many photos of the scenery - but I don't. Truthfully, if there isn't a beautiful couple in front of the scenery, I won't be taking a picture of it (It's pretty, yes, but boring!). My heart is with people - I love photographing people! (And my dogs, when they sit still.) I need to capture moments, memories, emotions, and feelings. And that's how I got here. I've done a little of everything when it comes to photography - landscapes, product photography, nature photos; you name it - but really, nothing beats a photo of a beautiful couple, a laughing baby, or a headshot so professional you just want to make it your own LinkedIn profile picture. Basically: People are the photo for me. And, honestly? I'd be honored to photograph you!

Pricing varies from session to session, as well as session length and location. I start my pricing at $200 for a 1-hour session.

Can you help me pose?
Yes! I love posing people. However, the best photos come from candid, real moments. While I will pose you, I often give prompts to help catch genuine moments. My biggest advice to you: Don't freeze in front of the camera. Stay loose and natural, and come to our shoot with a few ideas.
Can I have RAW/unedited images?
No. I do not send raw or unedited images under any circumstance. My photos are both my camerawork and my editing work. Raw images are an inaccurate depiction of my craft. It would be like an artist selling a canvas with only primer on top - it's not really their art, is it? I will only provide you with the FINISHED work. No exceptions.
